When Tom Otterness needed to hurry a large commishion the Digital Atelier helped by laser scanning and 5 axis milling sections of the piece. The Digital Atelier and the Otterness crew worked collabortaly to finsh this piece in a timely manner.

Digital Atelier

The Digital Atelier was established as vehicle to promote the growing need of technical assistance in producing quality Fine Art and Design through the use of digitally produced data. The Studio is built on the assumption that the management of Artists and Designers collected technologies may require support and interpretation in the fabrication of their work. Clients need to find quality vendors able to translate and construct their work via hardware, software and other professional services as trusted allies.

The Digital Atelier is such a vendor. We provide clients with the loyalty of a business partner and the economics of an outside fabricator. We make sure that Artists have what they need to run their careers and businesses as well as possible, with maximum efficiency and reliability. Many of our services are mission critical, so we give our clients the assurance that we will be there when they need us.

Students share the pragmatic experience for the development of this work and gain the acumen of hands on understanding.
